If you’re making a little trip of it, there’s loads to see and do on the island:
Theme Parks - Blackgang Chine is the UK’s oldest theme park, quirky, fun and full of character.
Animal days out – from the Isle of Wight Zoo (Wildheart Animal Sanctuary) to Amazon World, there are plenty of animal attractions to visit.
Steam Railway – hop on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway for a nostalgic ride through the countryside.
The Needles – A nostalgic classic. Famous chalk stacks, a chairlift, and the coloured sand you can make into your own souvenirs.
Beach walks – Compton Bay is perfect for long coastal walks, fresh air and amazing views (and even the odd fossil if you’re lucky).
Classic seaside fun – Sandown Pier is great for those traditional arcade and beach vibes.
Pubs & seaside spots – lots of lovely pubs and places to eat, especially around Yarmouth and Freshwater.
Having you with us on our wedding day means so much to us, and we truly understand the time, effort and cost it takes to be there, so please don’t feel that we expect anything more, your presence is more than enough.
If you would like to give a gift, we would be very grateful for a contribution towards our honeymoon.
